RiskScout Closes New Funding Round Following Year of Explosive Growth

New capital, led by LiveOak Ventures, will help RiskScout empower more institutions to fight financial crime efficiently

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- RiskScout, an integrated BSA/AML and fraud prevention platform for banks and credit unions, today announced the close of its latest funding round. The round was led by LiveOak Ventures, with participation from Castle Creek Launchpad, the Bankers Helping Bankers Fund, Alloy Labs, Brue2, and C3 Ventures.

The investment follows a year of substantial growth for RiskScout. The company more than tripled revenue and grew the number of banks and credit unions it serves by over 250% in the past year, including community institutions with under $100 million in assets to those managing more than $10 billion, a trajectory the team expects to continue through the remainder of 2026.

Those institutions face mounting pressure. Fraud losses at community banks continue to rise as fraud and money laundering schemes increasingly overlap, and regulators are placing greater emphasis on BSA/AML program effectiveness. Many institutions are meeting that pressure with lean compliance teams and legacy systems that treat fraud and BSA/AML as separate problems.

RiskScout was built by former BSA officers and bank examiners to close that gap.
