RiverMeadow Adds AWS GovCloud Support

Workload mobility and modernization for government agencies, contractors and organizations moving to AWS GovCloud (US)

LOS GATOS, Calif., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- RiverMeadow Software today announced support for AWS GovCloud (US), extending its Workload Mobility Operating Platform to an additional destination for government agencies, contractors and organizations with sensitive or regulated workloads.

The addition gives customers and delivery partners another path to address VMware exits, datacenter consolidation and legacy infrastructure modernization. RiverMeadow brings migration and modernization into one program, helping organizations plan the move, manage delivery and track progress through source retirement.

AWS GovCloud (US) consists of isolated AWS Regions designed for sensitive data and regulated workloads. RiverMeadow's support expands destination choice for organizations pursuing their cloud strategy in that environment.

"Government agencies and their partners need a practical way to move beyond legacy infrastructure and reduce the technical debt that holds them back," said Jim Jordan, President and CEO of RiverMeadow Software. "Adding AWS GovCloud support extends our commitment to one software platform, any source to any target. Our focus is on helping customers finish faster, spend less, carry less risk and retire the source sooner."

RiverMeadow automates, governs and reports the workload mobility and modernization lifecycle. Its platform brings discovery, planning, migration, modernization, validation and completion into a common workflow, with visibility across applications, workloads and delivery programs.

RiverMeadow Private Deployment enables customers to move to AWS GovCloud while retaining control of their migration environment. It gives organizations control over where the platform runs, with encrypted credentials and migration metadata retained within the deployment environment, alongside governance and reporting throughout the program.

Customers and partners can contact RiverMeadow to discuss an AWS GovCloud migration and confirm supported workloads, deployment options and regional availability.
