RMC: Resorts Mountains Cities Names New President

Brewer holds a bachelor's degree from Southwest Missouri State University, and has more than 30 years of experience in travel and hospitality sales and operations. She previously served as Maritz Travel's Vice President of Sales, where she focused on global companies and strategic planning. She led the company's global sales effort, maintained and expanded sales with existing customers and new customers, and worked with them to preserve the local culture while delivering a consistent and engaging experience. 

From an operational standpoint, Brewer worked in almost every department within Maritz. She joined Maritz Travel in 1990 as a Travel Coordinator, before moving into several higher-level positions, including Project Manager, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Business Development and Industry Relations, Vice President of Strategy, Communications and Administration, and Vice President of Channel Management and Operations in the business solution group.

Brewer currently serves as the immediate Past-President for the SITE (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence) Board of Directors. She is actively involved in this organization, leading the educational efforts for 2013 and sponsorship refresh in 2014. In previous years, she managed event sponsorships and participated on the education committee for the group's International Conference.

As the result of her expertise and success, both in her field and during her tenure with the company, Brewer's transition to her new position has been seamless and will continue to improve and broaden RMC within the industry.
