RMLS Alliance Selects Black Knight Paragon MLS System

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI) announced that newly formed RMLS Alliance, LLC has selected Paragon as its multiple listing service (MLS) system. The four associations that make up the alliance (Capital Area REALTORS, the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS, the Egyptian Board of REALTORS and the Quad City Area REALTOR Association) cover an area representing approximately 50 percent of the state of Illinois and portions of Iowa. Post-merger, the alliance will serve approximately 3,000 members and a population of more than two million customers.

With two of the four associations already using Paragon and familiar with the award-winning system's benefits, this comprehensive and configurable Black Knight MLS system was selected to support the new alliance. Paragon helps real estate professionals more easily manage their business and collaborate with clients via a dynamic software platform accessible on desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices. 

A new, comprehensive regional database is being created from the four individual systems, using RESO Data Dictionary standards optimized for the needs of RMLS Alliance subscribers. Paragon's unique Association Autonomy feature lets each association configure the system to meet the needs of its members, including branding, third-party integrations, customized home pages, calendars, reports and more, while still leveraging a common regional MLS system and database and the addition of a Commercial Information Exchange (CIE). The CIE is the exchange of commercial property information, with cooperation and compensation negotiated individually, unlike the blanket unilateral offer made when listing a property in the MLS.

All four associations plan to leverage products from Paragon's strategic alliance partners, including Homesnap Pro and CRS Data's MLS Tax Suite. Homesnap Pro, a top-rated real estate mobile app offered by Homesnap, allows agents to access their agent-only MLS data in real time. CRS Data's MLS Tax Suite provides streamlined access to a wealth of property information, including current tax data, home improvement values and detailed maps. The integration of these products with Paragon provides a productive and seamless experience for subscribers.
