LOS ANGELES, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Los Angeles-based Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store announced that it has purchased all the assets of Seattle's favorite neighborhood engagement ring store, E.E. Robbins in Washington.

Robbins Brothers started as a family-run business in Seattle in the 1920s, with grandfather Ben Tipp who operated a jewelry store downtown. The family moved to California in the 1950s where his son-in-law Eugene opened William Pitt in Pasadena. Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store was founded by Emerson Robbins and his brother in the mid-1990s in Orange County, California. Emerson went on to open additional independent stores under his own name in Seattle in the late-1990s. E.E. Robbins store locations are in Belltown, Seattle and in the Eastside's premier shopping destination, Bellevue.
