SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ROC - If 2015 is the year for you to launch your start-up, this is an event you cannot afford to miss! The global startup initiative, known as Microsoft Ventures, is not only accepting application for its Digital Work Accelerator, but there will be an opportunity to meet and learn about the Digital Work program at the up-coming Microsoft Ventures Info Session at ROC (Real Office Centers) Santa Monica.
The primary focus for the next Accelerator for selected start-ups will be focused on scalable productivity applications, cloud software, enterprise grade solutions and all potential productivity enhancing platforms or products with promise.
Through mentorship - in alliance with other supportive and start-up-centric entities such as ROC with its proven record of successful growth - new and innovative companies and concepts are able to translate their product or service into viable, productive, and thriving companies. The Microsoft Ventures Info Session being hosted at ROC Santa Monica will also be welcoming recent graduates of the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator in Seattle who will be there to share their experiences, as well as tips and advice. This is a great opportunity to look at this program from all angles and pick the brains of some prominent and influential people involved with this program.
Eighty percent (80%) of the graduating start-up companies through Microsoft Ventures Accelerators worldwide have received to date an average funding total of $1.9 million within one year of graduating the program! Talk about acceleration - how many "programs," academic or otherwise, can boast those numbers?
