Co-founders Margaret and Scott Johnson founded Rock Creek in 1987 and have grown the agency to a team of nearly 100 brand, communications and technology professionals. In 2011 the co-founders, along with Principal, Chris Lester, established CHIEF as a distinct entity under the Rock Creek umbrella to deliver brand strategy to commercial and non-profit clients.
