Rockville Town Square Hosts Home & Garden Festival

ROCKVILLE, Md., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT) today announced Rockville Town Square will host the Home & Garden Festival on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Join Rockville Town Square residents, retailers and the greater Montgomery County community to officially welcome spring to Rockville. Hosted by Mike McGrath, WTOP Garden Editor, the 2010 Home & Garden Festival will feature over 30 home and garden exhibitors, live music, "go green" ideas, A Taste of Town Square and a fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Schedule of Events:

• 10 a.m. –  Exhibitors open on the plaza with live music featuring acoustic string music by the Teiber Trio
• 11 a.m. – Mike McGrath, WTOP Garden Editor, "Organic Answers to All Your Garden Questions"
• 11:30 a.m. – Live Jazz by the Jeff Carmella Band
• 1 p.m. – Japanese Koto Music by the Washington Toho Koto Society
• 2 p.m. – Mike McGrath, WTOP Garden Editor, "The Seven Secrets of Successful Organic Gardeners"
• 2:30 p.m. – Live performance by Urban Folk Rock performer Justin Trawick
• 4 p.m. – Performance by Caribbean Steel Drum Orchestra Ewabo

Additionally, guests will enjoy A Taste of the Town Square from noon to 5 p.m. featuring food, wine and signature drink tastings from restaurants such as Bobby's Crabcakes, Gordon Biersch, La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar, Noodles & Company, Oro Pomodoro, Primo Italiano, Spice Xing, Taste of Saigon and more.
