Roosevelt Paper Chooses Acsis' Next-Generation Software for Automated Data and Task Management in the Warehouse

MARLTON, N.J., Aug. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Acsis Inc., the market leader for Enterprise Serialization solutions, today announced that Roosevelt Paper Company plans to upgrade to Acsis VisiTrak® for automated data management and task management processes.  Roosevelt Paper, one of the nation's largest distributors and converters of fine printing papers, has been an Acsis customer since 1999.  Acsis VisiTrak will provide real-time connectivity to every point in the supply chain for Roosevelt Papers, from incoming materials through manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and distribution.

As a long-time Acsis customer, Roosevelt Paper currently uses Acsis DataPass for paperless, real-time order processing.  With Acsis, Roosevelt Paper has increased plant throughput, improved staff productivity and eliminated lost or misplaced stock and incorrect shipments.  The company will upgrade to the Acsis VisiTrak platform for added functionality, and long-term sustainability and flexibility. The solution also provides business continuity for Roosevelt's mission critical applications in the event of an ERP or wide area network outage.

VisiTrak is the foundation for Acsis' Warehouse Enhance, an ERP add-on solution that extends and strengthens a system's functionality. Both products add key functionality to ERP systems, such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle and IBM.  VisiTrak and Warehouse Enhance each provide for automated data collection, task and resource management and warehouse management capabilities that streamline processes and perform real-time updates to existing ERP and IT systems. Both products can be configured to post to an ERP system either in real-time or upon task completion.
