CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation, a leading national mortgage servicing company, received residential primary and special servicer ratings from Fitch Ratings this week.

The international credit ratings agency assigned RoundPoint an RPS3 primary servicer rating for subprime product. Fitch also granted RoundPoint a special servicer rating of RSS3. Fitch rates residential mortgage primary, master and special servicers on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the highest rating. Within some of these rating levels, Fitch further differentiates ratings by plus and minus, as well as the flat rating.

RoundPoint's rating status is based on the company's capable default performance, focused and high-touch servicing approach, and advanced servicing technology.
