Donation to local nonprofit underscores commitment to community; Decades of leadership and innovation deliver growth and garner national recognition

Founded in 1981 by Ramesh Mirchandani, P.E., the firm has become a nationally recognized, full-service mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEP/FP) firm dedicated to providing sustainable, quality designs and engineering solutions to industrial, commercial, and retail builds as well as other complex building types such as healthcare and laboratory facilities.

Mirchandani noted that RTM has a number of exciting projects particularly within the sustainability and healthcare sectors. The company launched its Sustainability Studio earlier this year to strengthen the firm's commitment to green building solutions and to accelerate sustainable and energy-efficient designs for clients. As part of a Green Works Initiative project in the city of Orlando, RTM was brought in to perform As Designed evaluations per ASHRAE's Building Energy Quotient (bEQ) program at numerous buildings owned and operated by the city. RTM's sustainability professionals are creating energy benchmarking models as a way to improve energy efficiency within facilities in Orlando.
