Rubrik Enables CarePoint Health to Trade Complex Legacy IT Infrastructure for Simple Hybrid Cloud Solution with Microsoft Azure

PALO ALTO, Calif., March 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Rubrik, the Cloud Data Management Company, today announced that CarePoint Health, a leading New Jersey healthcare group, has deployed Rubrik's Cloud Data Management platform and Microsoft Azure to modernize and simplify its IT operations. The solution has helped CarePoint Health increase backup speed by 700%, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) by 50%, and achieve near-zero recovery time objectives (RTOs).

Founded in 2013 to help rebuild Hudson County, New Jersey's aging healthcare system, CarePoint Health combines the resources of three area hospitals, Bayonne Medical Center, Christ Hospital in Jersey City, and Hoboken University Medical Center, to provide 360-degree coordinated care to residents. As part of a strategic initiative to integrate the three hospitals' separate IT environments, CarePoint Health wanted to move to a hybrid cloud model leveraging Microsoft Azure. • Reduce backup times from over eight hours to less than 30 minutes and reduce restore times to less than a minute.
• Implement Nutanix Acropolis (AHV) with Rubrik's multi-hypervisor support.
