Ruckus Wireless and Bradford Networks Collaborate on Smarter Network Access Control for Enterprise Wi-Fi

SUNNYVALE, Calif. and CONCORD, N.H., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruckus Wireless™, the smart mobile networking company, announced today that it has teamed with Bradford Networks to combine Adaptive Network Security (ANS) capabilities with Ruckus ZoneFlex™ "Smart Wi-Fi" products and technology.

Additionally, Bradford has joined the Ruckus Interoperability and Open Testing (RIOT) program, a joint development and interoperability program specifically designed to ensure seamless operation between third-party systems and Ruckus.

The combined, best-of-breed solution lets enterprise customers better protect their wireless LANs (WLANs) by setting policies for how different user groups such as employees, students and guests, are provided network access.

Bradford's ANS solution, Network Sentry, goes beyond traditional Network Access Control (NAC) tools. Based on pre-established policies, Network Sentry adapts to changing security needs by responding and securely provisioning network resources automatically. As part of this joint partnership, Ruckus ZoneFlex Smart Wi-Fi products have completed extensive interoperability testing with Network Sentry.
