LOS ANGELES, Aug. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles Business Journal this week named Rutter Hobbs & Davidoff, a law firm in Century City, one of the "Best Places to Work in Los Angeles" for the fourth consecutive year. The annual list honors small-to-large-sized companies that not only make a positive impact in the L.A. business community, but also provide their employees with an exemplary work environment and culture.

"We are, once again, very honored to earn a spot on the 'Best Places to Work' list," said Brian Davidoff, managing director at Rutter Hobbs & Davidoff. "That we continue to have a cohesive and committed team of staff and attorneys is part and parcel of our ability to deliver timely and excellent legal services to our valued clients."

The LABJ's annual "Best Places to Work" list – which appears in the Aug. 15-21, 2011 issue – attracts entries from companies in nearly every industry and of all sizes. Winners are selected through a two-part evaluation process conducted by Best Companies Group, a third-party provider. Best Companies Group first surveys each employer regarding their workplace policies, practices and demographics. Then, they survey employees on eight core areas: leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, role satisfaction, work environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits and overall engagement. The employee feedback report – which compiles the results of the employee surveys – is provided to the companies so they can use the input to improve workplace practices.
