Family-style restaurants further commitment to military with 'Military Monday'

GREER, S.C., Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan's^®, HomeTown^® Buffet, Old Country Buffet^® are launching a new military discount program that benefits active and retired members, reservists and spouses of military starting Monday, November 10, 2014. Military Monday features exclusive discounted pricing on lunch and dinner for all military and their spouses, plus up to three other family members. The program is available only on Mondays with proper military ID.

The lower priced meals feature an adult dinner for $8.99, an adult lunch for $5.99 and kid's meals for $1.99, which are good all day on Mondays. Discounted adult meals do not include beverages. Other discounts and coupon offers may not be combined with the Military Monday prices.

Online Military Family Photo Album
Also starting on November 10, the family-style restaurants are celebrating the military with a free online photo contest. Military members are encouraged to snap photos of themselves in uniform at any of the 324 restaurants or pose with a brand logo and post to the official Facebook page for Ryan's, HomeTown Buffet, or Old Country Buffet for a chance to win free food for a year (12 Family Meals for four). Photos will be accepted online starting November 10 and through November 30, 2014. No purchase necessary to participate. Winner will be selected at random.

All photos collected will help build an online Military Family Photo Album on the restaurants' official Facebook pages. The albums will be accessible for the brands' Facebook fans to view.

Veterans Day
Ryan's, HomeTown Buffet and Old Country Buffet will be honoring our soldiers on Veterans Day with a free lunch. Active, reservists, and retired military members may enjoy a free meal including a beverage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 11, 2014. This is available at only participating locations. Must show proof of service.
