MOBILE AD TECH COMPANY'S WINNING TECHNOLOGY REACHES LATINO VOTERS
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabio Mobile won the prestigious 2017 Reed Award for Best Use of Technology to Get Out The Vote. The winning GOTV campaign focused on Southern California's Latino voters.
Held this year at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas on February 18-19, the Reed Awards is an annual award show that recognizes the best U.S. and International political campaign ads. With entries representing local, state, and national campaigns from the United States, Europe, Australia, and Latin America, it was an impressive win for Sabio Mobile. Tasked by the Latino Victory Fund to strategize on how to persuade newly registered Latino voters to get out and vote during the Presidential Election, Grassroots Lab reached out to Sabio Mobile for help. Sabio Mobile's winning entry used a rich media "shake" ad that pictured a wall with an image of Donald Trump and the caption, "There are people building walls to hold our community back," and prompted users to shake their phones to "break down barriers with us."
