Sacom Announces Appointment of Mr Carlo Piretti as Operation System & Support Director

LARINO, Italy, Aug. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sacom S.p.A., a manufacturer and distributor company of products for plants nutrition and care (hereinafter "Sacom" or "Company"), announced the entry of Mr Carlo Piretti as Operations Management and Support Services Director.

Mr Carlo Piretti has almost ten years-experience in the production and distribution of special fertilizers for agricultural nutrition, gained within Valagro Group, a reality that makes 1,400 finished products, 380 semi-finished products and has offices in 70 countries worldwide through distributors and its subsidiaries. Within Valagro Group, a world leader in the production and marketing of special fertilizers, Mr Carlo Piretti has worked as Administration Area, Finance, Controlling, IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Human Resources Manager for both the group and all its subsidiaries.

His resume includes many important and successful collaborations both in Italy and abroad, developed in leading national and international companies, working with leading players in the industry including: Pieralini Group, Valagro Group, Faber Group (Franke) , Pharmacia & Upjohn (Pfizer), Turbo AlliedSignal (now Honeywell Group).

The entry of Mr Piretti is part of Sacom growth and development project and more specifically it is related to the will of the Company to adopt a reference person, head of all Operation Area activities (lines of action in the organizational, managerial, administrative, manufacturing, research and development sectors as well as strategic and commercial views).
