Saline Area Schools Switched from Laser Printers to Epson Inkjet Printers for Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., April 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Epson America, Inc. today announced Saline Area Schools has onboarded Epson business printing solutions to replace its fleet of laser printers deployed across seven education buildings. Saline Area Schools chose Epson's business printers, powered by PrecisionCore^® Heat-Free technology, because of the distinct and impactful environmental benefits that help the district advance its sustainability goals.

The Saline Area School district Instructional Technology department's mission is to bring technology into the classroom for educators and students to utilize as a tool to aid in the learning process. Its former printer fleet proved to no longer serve as a bridge to enhance learning but instead a barrier due to frequent machine downtime, long turnaround times for replacement parts and toner complications.
