Salus Hospice Hires Shanna Midland - New Director of Community Relations

Shanna graduated from UCLA and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 12 years. While this experience provided her with a wealth of knowledge surrounding various diseases and innovative medical technology, she was missing her true calling. Shanna's goal was always to use her combined skill sets in communication and medicine to provide compassionate, personalized care. In her own words, "hospice was the perfect fit.--"

Taking on the role of Director of Community Relations is no small feat, but Shanna has proven to be up to the challenge. With a primary goal of providing oversight for marketing and community relations for Salus Hospice, Shanna will strategically work to further the reputation of this important division of Salus Homecare and increase awareness in the community.  Within the agency and throughout the community, she will provide thoughtful supervision to the community relations team and build stronger relationships with other healthcare professionals through education regarding end of life care.
