Samuel Hirsch Joins CriticalPoint Partners

LOS ANGELES, April 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CriticalPoint Partners announced that Samuel Hirsch has joined as Managing Director.  With over 18 years as a financial advisor and executive, Mr. Hirsch enhances CriticalPoint's already extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and restructurings.

Mr. Hirsch most recently served as Managing Director of Conway MacKenzie's Los Angeles office.  Previously, he was Managing Director of XRoads Solutions Group and Vice President of The Blackstone Group.  Throughout his career he has advised companies in a number of industries, including apparel, telecommunications, building products, and manufacturing. Mr. Hirsch's advisory experience includes the acquisition of Calvin Klein by PVH, the sale of Executive Conference to Investcorp and the acquisition of Composite Structures by The Pritzker Group.  He also played key roles in restructuring The Modern Honolulu Hotel, Joy Global, and Xerox.

In addition to his numerous advisory roles, Mr. Hirsch also served as President of Richard Marshall Fine Flooring, a manufacturer of high-end hardwood flooring.  As President from 2005 through 2011, Mr. Hirsch operated the company through the housing market downturn and "Great Recession".  As a result of his leadership, Richard Marshall is a thriving business today.

Mr. Hirsch holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Business-Economics from the UCLA, where he graduated summa cum laude.
