Santa Anita Encore Enables Breeders' Cup To Expand Travel Packages For 2013

ARCADIA, Calif., May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Breeders' Cup Ltd. and QuintEvents will expand the event's travel/experience package offerings in 2013, taking advantage of the return of the Breeders' Cup World Championships to Santa Anita Park this November.

As the Breeders' Cup's Exclusive Official Ticket, Hospitality and Travel Package Provider, QuintEvents will launch the sale of 2013 packages six months in advance of this year's renewal of sport's richest event.  Utilizing many of the top hotels and on-site ticket and hospitality locations, organizers have finalized arrangements for the Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2 culmination of the Thoroughbred racing season.

Designed to bring fans closer to the sport by providing access previously reserved for only major sponsors and TV partners, "Breeders' Cup Experiences" is detailed and now available at www.QuintEvents.com, with five newly-minted packages starting at just $599.

Kentucky Derby winner, Orb, may follow in the footsteps of Unbridled (1990), Sunday Silence ('89), Alysheba ('87) and Ferdinand ('86), all Derby champions who also won the Breeders' Cup Classic as three or four-year-olds.  Animal Kingdom, who won the Kentucky Derby in 2011, went on to take second in the Breeders' Cup Mile in 2012.  Among other familiar Derby competitors who have graced the Breeders' Cup starting gates in November are Street Sense, Curlin and Skip Away.

The Official program is available to individuals, groups and corporations, combining combinations of tickets, hotel accommodations, on-site hospitality, fast-access and other amenities.
