SANUS® Focuses on TV Safety at CES 2013, Showcases New iPad® and iPad® mini Mounts, Media Furniture and A/V Racks in Central Hall Booth # 9432

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- A veteran exhibitor of the international Consumer Electronics Show (CES), SANUS is excited to participate in the annual trade show yet again this year where the brand will showcase many new products, including iPad and iPad mini mounts, furniture stands, Stackable Skeleton Racks and other A/V accessories.

Another main focus at CES, SANUS will be talking with attendees about the growing concern of TV tip-over injuries with an urge to consumers to take the proper safety precautions and mount all household TVs or secure them with a safety strap. Recent reports released by Safe Kids Worldwide and the Consumer Product Safety Commission revealed why consumers should be concerned with this issue: A child dies every three weeks from unsecured TVs tipping and thousands more people are treated in emergency rooms every year with TV-related injuries. The research also shows these type of injuries have increased 31 percent in the last 10 years. SANUS has partnered with Safe Kids Worldwide and will be talking to CES visitors—in addition to launching a consumer outreach campaign and the website TVsafety.org—in hopes to increase awareness of this important issue while providing information about products, such as TV wall mounts and safety straps, that can help prevent TV-related injuries from occurring.
