Bautzen-based BIT.Group GmbH and itelligence AG are pleased to announce the 100% acquisition of BIT.Group GmbH by itelligence AG. With this acquisition, itelligence is cementing its position as one of the leading IT service providers in Germany with a strong focus on cloud and SAP managed services.

BIT.Group, established in 2004, stands out as a provider of innovative services for national and international customers. In Bautzen, itelligence already runs several data centers, an additional office building is about to be opened, and a further data center is currently being constructed. itelligence also plans to expand the Dresden location and recruit additional staff.

The employees of BIT.Group will be transferred to the itelligence Group. The founders and management team of BIT, Harry Schweickert, Henry Flack, Adrien Seidel, and Corina Weidmann, will continue their careers in senior positions at itelligence.
