Saudi Oil and Gas Companies Host Vallar to Tackle Haul Road and Dust Challenges

American clean-chemical company presents dust control and soil stabilization technology to energy operators in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province

DAMMAM, Saudi Arabia, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Vallar Advanced Systems, Inc. ("Vallar"), an American company that makes environmentally clean chemical technology for road building and dust control, has finished a visit to Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. While there, the Vallar team was hosted by several leading Saudi oil and gas companies to discuss solutions for their extensive haul road networks and the persistent dust problems that come with them.

Haul roads are the backbone of oil and gas operations. They carry heavy trucks, drilling equipment and supplies across long stretches of desert every day. In Saudi Arabia's arid climate, unpaved haul roads quickly break down under constant heavy traffic and throw up large amounts of dust. That dust reduces visibility, creates safety hazards for drivers and crews, wears down equipment, and affects workers' health and nearby communities. Keeping it down usually means watering roads again and again, which uses scarce water and requires constant maintenance.

During the meetings, Vallar presented its dust control and soil stabilization products. They bind the native desert soil into a firm, durable surface that holds up under heavy loads and keeps dust down for far longer than water alone. Vallar's products are non-toxic and water-based, so operators can improve road safety and cut maintenance costs while meeting their environmental commitments.

"Saudi Arabia's energy sector runs on its roads, and every operator we met is dealing with the same challenge: dust that puts people and equipment at risk, and haul roads that need constant upkeep," said Jeremy Flynn, Chief Executive Officer of Vallar Advanced Systems. "We were honored to be hosted by these companies and to show them a solution built for exactly these conditions: heavy loads, extreme heat and very little water."

Vallar's technology is 100% developed and manufactured in the United States. The company sees Saudi Arabia's oil and gas sector as a key market for its industrial dust control and haul road products.

"We are grateful for the hospitality of our hosts and for the open, practical conversations we had," Flynn added. "We look forward to working with them to put our technology to work on their roads."

Vallar plans to continue talks with its Saudi hosts in the coming months.
