Vallar Brings Non-Toxic Dust Control and Soil Stabilization to Greenbuild 2026
American clean-chemical company shows green building professionals a water-based way to manage construction sites, access roads and parking areas
NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Vallar Advanced Systems, Inc. ("Vallar"), an American company that makes environmentally clean chemical technology for road building and dust control, exhibited at the Greenbuild International Conference + Expo, held Oct. 20–23 at the Javits Center in New York City. Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Flynn and Director of Operations Alexis Baker represented the company, meeting with architects, developers, contractors and sustainability professionals to talk about an often-overlooked part of green building: the ground around the building.
Most green building conversations focus on the structure itself, but every project also depends on haul routes, staging areas, access roads and parking areas. On unpaved sites, dust lowers air quality, creates safety hazards for crews and affects neighbors. Keeping it down usually means watering again and again, and permanent surfaces often rely on petroleum-based asphalt.
Vallar's soil stabilization and dust control products bind native soil into a firm, durable surface that holds up under heavy loads and eliminates dust. The products are non-toxic and water-based, and Vallar also offers alternative-asphalt liquids for road surfaces. This helps owners and builders reduce water use, cut maintenance costs and meet their environmental commitments from the first day of site work.
At its booth, Vallar let visitors see the results for themselves. The team brought treated samples, or "pucks," made from three very different materials: beach sand, glacial silt and recycled asphalt. After treatment, each sample became rock-solid, incredibly strong and waterproof, showing how the same product works on the native soil and materials already found on a job site.
Vallar's four systems cover erosion and dust control, soil stabilization, asphalt reinforcement and concrete sealing.
The results last. Vallar's products can add 8 to 14 years to pavement life, extend maintenance cycles by two to ten times, and deliver 95% CO₂ savings compared with traditional lime stabilization.
"Sustainable building starts before the first wall goes up," said Jeremy Flynn, Chief Executive Officer of Vallar Advanced Systems. "Every project has roads and staging areas, and most of them still rely on constant watering or petroleum-based products. At Greenbuild, we showed the people leading green construction a cleaner, longer-lasting way to build on the ground they already have."
Vallar's technology is 100% developed and manufactured in the United States. The show follows the company's recent work abroad, including visits to Kenya and to Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, where it met with oil and gas operators about haul road and dust challenges. Vallar plans to follow up with the contacts it made at Greenbuild as it brings its technology to construction and development markets around the world.
Among the most promising conversations at the show was a lead to help improve infrastructure and road conditions in Bermuda, which Vallar plans to pursue in the coming weeks.
