Regional Grocer Expanding Concept into Gourmet Foods, Fine Wine & Spirits

Feb 04, 2013, 05:30 ET from Trevelino/Keller

ATLANTA, Feb. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Savi Provisions, a regional purveyor of locally sourced gourmet foods, hard to find wine and spirits, proudly unveils the newest generation of its urban market brand and with it, announces its partnership with Atlanta-based Trevelino/Keller.  Critical to communicating its updated brand offerings to new communities initially in and around Atlanta, Savi selected Trevelino/Keller to lead its rebranding, marketing and integrated communications strategy.

Through this partnership, Savi Provisions plans to establish itself as the preeminent locally sourced purveyor of gourmet foods and fine wine and spirits in the Atlanta area as they prepare to unfold the next model of Savi stores.  Savi has an immediate plan to develop several new stores beginning with one of Atlanta's toniest neighborhoods, Buckhead.

Recognized as one of the top 30 firms to work for in North America, Trevelino/Keller is often sought out by companies in need of a strategic partner that cuts across public relations, branding and social media.  Drawn to Trevelino/Keller's dedicated consumer lifestyle practice, Savi Provisions chose Trevelino/Keller based on its experience with food and beverage and retail companies, as well as its legacy of expanding some of Atlanta's most popular brands, including Moe's Southwest Grill, Flying Biscuit Cafe, Planet Smoothie and Shane's Rib Shack.

"Trevelino/Keller offers us the right mix of services and experience, as we venture out to fill a void in the Atlanta marketplace," states Paul Nair, president and founder of Savi Provisions.  "Equally important, the firm has a personal commitment and appreciation for organics and the local food movement."

Savi Provisions seeks to offer an alternative to conventional super markets, where local patrons can find gourmet and organic food items, hard-to-find spirits, fine wine and artisanal beer within a sustainable community environment.  With the newest addition to the Savi Provisions stores coming to Buckhead in February 2013, Nair will add a dedicated tasting room where customers can enjoy specially curated spirit samplings and wine parings, an expansive Sommelier Select wine cellar, a fresh organic juice bar and a fair trade, organic Lavazza coffee bar.

"Savi's initial success as an urban market has laid the groundwork to evolve into a more Dean and Deluca style brand which the Atlanta market craves," states Dean Trevelino, principal, Trevelino/Keller.  "In the spirit of old purveyors provisioning artisanal foods and spirits from local farmers and wine and spirit makers, Savi is in a great position to introduce some of that turn of the previous century nostalgia to Atlanta."
