Savorian Inc. started in 2005 with a friendship, in the cafe's of Barcelona, Spain between Elke de la Sota and Chad Turnbull. Elke, originally from Bavaria, Germany was living in Barcelona for 12 years and Chad, originally from Brooklyn, NY was in the process of completing his doctorate degree at ESADE. Over the years and several tapas, the conversations would always focus on how fascinating Spanish wine culture is and how to bring it outside of Spain, but the dream was just table talk until 2010. After a pivotal phone call in Spring 2010 combined with careful research and planning, Savorian Inc. is now ready to enter the US wine market.
