MIAMI, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sawgrass LNG & Power announced today that it has begun supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) to an aerospace customer at Cape Canaveral, marking the company's entry into the aerospace market and further expanding its multi-market customer portfolio.
The initial deliveries, completed last month, continue a pattern of expansion for Sawgrass, which has grown its footprint from Florida and Caribbean markets, including The Bahamas, Haiti, Barbados, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, into marine bunkering earlier this year, and now aerospace. All volumes are produced at Sawgrass' liquefaction facility in Miami, then delivered via the company's ISO container fleet, one of the largest in the hemisphere.
The addition of aerospace gives Sawgrass a diversification the company believes is unmatched among LNG suppliers in the region, with the company now serving six distinct end markets: transportation, island power grids, gas utility grids, behind-the-meter power generation, aerospace, and marine bunkering.
"We are proud to power the growing aerospace industry here in Florida and look forward to continuing to support our customers as they pursue their objectives. This milestone reflects the flexibility and reliability our supply chain brings to industries with the most demanding requirements," said Daniel McLaughlin, President & Chief Commercial Officer of Sawgrass LNG & Power.
