SAWTST, LLC And McLane Advanced Technologies, LLC Team Win Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) Contract

TYRONE, Ga., Aug. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SAWTST, LLC (SAWTST) along with subcontractor McLane Advanced Technologies, LLC (MAT) are proud to announce their award of the sustainment and management support contract of the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS). AFMIS is the management information system that supports the Army food program and supports over 500 Active Army dining facilities, and about 1,700 Army Reserve and Army National Guard Units worldwide.

The two companies have teamed to support the Army and the customers they serve by providing a comprehensive solution. The collaboration will consist of software engineering and technical services to include sustainment, deployment, testing, customer assistance, quality improvement, and information assurance certification.
