Saxo Capital Markets UK Limited Appoints Nick Beecroft as Chairman

Saxo Capital Markets UK Limited, the wholly owned UK subsidiary of Saxo Bank A/S, the online trading and investment specialist, announced the appointment of Nick Beecroft to Chairman of the Board, with responsibility for the development and performance of the subsidiary and, in consultation with the CEO, its external relationships.

An Honours Graduate from Oxford University, Mr. Beecroft has over 30 years of international trading experience within the financial industry, including senior Global Markets roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank and Citibank. He was a member of the Bank of England's Foreign Exchange Joint Standing Committee and has been with Saxo in the UK since 2009. As its Senior Markets Analyst, Mr. Beecroft has brought his personal finance expertise to many industry publications and financial news channels such as CNBC and Bloomberg and he will continue in this role, keeping his finger on the pulse of the market in an open dialogue with the industry and the community.

Nick Beecroft replaces Albert Maasland as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Maasland was appointed as Chairman when Torben Kaaber took over as CEO in June 2011.
