Saxum hires energy industry veteran to lead growing Houston office
Kristi DesJarlais to serve as senior vice president and general manager
HOUSTON and OKLAHOMA CITY, March 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Saxum, an integrated marketing communications agency offering public relations, advertising and digital services, today announced the hiring of Kristi DesJarlais to serve as senior vice president and general manager of the agency's Houston office. DesJarlais will be responsible for overseeing client service and operations in Saxum's Houston office as well as business development.

DesJarlais brings 25 years of marketing communications experience in the energy industry to Saxum. Previously, DesJarlais worked as manager of corporate reputation and brand for Phillips 66. Additionally, she has worked in various management roles for ConocoPhillips and Phillips Petroleum Co including manager of internal and external communications, and director of media relations. DesJarlais earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma.

She is also a former member and vice chair of the American Petroleum Institute, General Committee on Communications.
