SBA Director and SBA Lenders to Rock Climb In Honor of the 2014 NC Small Business Persons of the Year

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SBA North Carolina District Director Ms. Lynn L. Douthett will participate in an indoor rock climb with the 2014 NC Small Business Persons of the Year, Andrew Kratz and Joel Graybeal, owners of Triangle Rock Club (TRC) to celebrate their award.

Also climbing will be representatives from SunTrust Bank, VantageSouth Bank and SBA Certified Development Companies BEFCOR and Self-Help.

The SBA has assisted TRC in their climb to success with funding through the SBA 504 and 7(a) loan programs.  With the help of three rounds of SBA funding totaling over $5 million they continue to expand.  TRC has two locations, one in Morrisville and one in North Raleigh. They are currently expanding the Morrisville facility. Once complete, it will be the largest and tallest climbing gym in five states.

During Small Business Week, May 12-16, 2014 Kratz and Graybeal will be competing for the title of National Small Business Persons of the Year during the celebration in Washington, D.C.
