Schaeffler Technologies Showcases its Portfolio for Future Efficient Mobility and eSolutions Concept at the 2012 North American International Auto Show

DETROIT, Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- At the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Schaeffler Technologies – a global automotive manufacturer of high-precision products and systems for engines, transmissions and chassis applications – will showcase how the company, through its portfolio of products, is well positioned as a partner in efficient future mobility as powertrain technologies shift to alternative types, such as hybrid and electric vehicles.

For the seventh consecutive year, Schaeffler Technologies will have a presence at NAIAS as an event sponsor and exhibitor. Its 5,000-square-foot exhibit in room W2-60 will be open to journalists and invited guests. In the company's exhibit area, a press conference focusing on the North American market will be held at approximately 7:20 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 9.

During its press conference, Schaeffler Technologies will debut its eSoultions concept to the North American market. The eSolutions concept, which provides detailed insight into Schaeffler Technologies' varied product range for energy efficiency and forward-looking mobility, includes components that are suitable for use in hybrid and electric vehicles. In addition to the concept, Schaeffler Technologies will showcase its established products and technology offerings that optimize internal combustion engines, hybrid solutions and electric vehicles.

The NAIAS event – one of the world's premier automotive exhibitions – opens to the media and industry officials on Monday, Jan. 9. It will open to the public from Saturday, Jan. 14 through Sunday, Jan. 22.
