Scratchpay, a technology company focused on providing simple payment plans for veterinary care, will soon add this innovative pet focused account to its existing set of award winning products.
Scratchpay Savings is expected to include:
- "Set it and forget it" savings plans through the Scratchpay app

Additional benefits of the savings account may include earning cash back at Scratchpay partner clinic locations, and special rewards for account holders who also have a Scratchpay payment plan.
The announcement came during Green Dot's Q1 earnings call. "[Scratchpay] is kicking butt," exclaimed Green Dot CEO Steven Streit, remarking on the company's rapid growth since launching in 2016, "[they] own the veterinary space, paws down."
“Scratchpay’s current offerings help pet parents manage the high cost of veterinary care with convenient and transparent payment plans.” said John Keatley, CEO of Scratchpay. “But we know that many of our customers want to be proactive and plan ahead for the next expensive trip to the veterinarian. Scratchpay Savings will help them do just that -- set aside funds each month for their pet’s healthcare while earning rewards and incentives.”
