Securian Retirement Customer Satisfaction Soars

PAUL, Minn., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- In a survey of more than 1,300 employers who sponsor retirement plans for their employees, Securian Retirement received more "very satisfied" rankings for overall satisfaction from its clients than any other plan provider in the survey among plans with up to $5 million in assets. Eighty-three percent of Securian Retirement's clients who responded to the survey gave the company the highest rating for overall satisfaction .

"It takes a lot of hard work and creativity to get employers to say they're satisfied," said Warren Cormier, president, Boston Research Group, which conducts the annual DCP Plan Sponsor Satisfaction & Loyalty study. "Not only did Securian best the competition in many key categories, they bested themselves by improving their customer satisfaction levels across the board from 2009 to 2010."

Securian Retirement also received the highest scores in the category for several of the factors that contribute to customer satisfaction, including relationship management and employee services and education. Securian earned its highest scores for employee account statements and for websites for employees and employers.
