Seix Advisors Names Patrick J. Mc Nelis Director of Sales, Marketing & Client Service

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J., Feb. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Seix Investment Advisors LLC is pleased to announce today the appointment of Patrick J. Mc Nelis as Managing Director and Director of Sales, Marketing & Client Service.  In this capacity, Mc Nelis will be responsible for leading institutional sales activities in the U.S. and abroad, managing the Client Service, Consultant Relations and Marketing teams and defining and executing the firm's strategy for continued growth in the global institutional asset management arena.

Mc Nelis has more than 25 years of experience in the global institutional investment management industry.  He joins Seix from Greenwich Associates, where he served as Managing Director in the firm's investment management consulting practice providing business strategy consulting services to more than a dozen institutional asset management organizations in the U.S. and in Europe.  Prior to his tenure at Greenwich Associates, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Global Distribution & Client Service for Pyramis Global Advisors, the primary institutional asset management subsidiary of Fidelity Investments.  In that capacity, he was responsible for sales, consultant relations and client service activities in multiple U.S. and foreign locations, and he established the firm's first sales presence in London and Hong Kong.   Earlier, he held similar executive leadership positions at Principal Global Investors and Citigroup Asset Management.  "I am thrilled indeed to be joining Seix, a firm whose sterling reputation and brand identity evoke the highest levels of excellence in institutional portfolio management and client service," said Mc Nelis.  "At a time when many global institutional investors are expressing a pronounced need for proven fixed income expertise, I am quite honored to join one of the industry's acknowledged fixed income leaders."  Mc Nelis earned an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business, and a BS in Economics from the same institution.  He is a member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE), and is a past board member of the Institutional Investor Institute.
