Selig D. Sacks To Receive The 2013 M&A Advisor Leadership Award

NEW YORK, Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The M&A Advisor is proud to announce that Selig D. Sacks, Co-Chair, International Practice of the law firm Foley & Lardner, is a recipient of the 2013 M&A Advisor Leadership Award. Mr. Sacks is to be honored for his contribution to the development of the burgeoning investment relationship between the US and China at the 12^th Annual M&A Advisor Awards Gala on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 in New York, NY.

Chair of the Business Law Department for the New York office of Foley & Lardner, Mr. Sacks is also a member of the firm's Transactional & Securities, and Private Equity & Venture Capital Practices. Most notably, he has worked closely with the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China (ICC-NDRC) to assist Chinese companies to access the U.S. capital markets and successfully achieve technology transfers. His efforts in this arena have benefitted our industry significantly.

A featured speaker at industry conferences around the world, Mr. Sacks is also a regular contributor to the media on the subject of US/SINO M&A and financial industry relations.  

In addition to his legal practice, Selig is engaged in the advancement of educational initiatives through his Board representation at both Stanford University and Northwestern University. He is also a proponent of the expansion of philanthropic cause participation through his work with the Stanford University Center for Philanthropy and Civil Society and as a Thought Leader and Legal Counsel to #GivingTuesday.  Mr. Sacks is an active member of the arts community, through service on the boards of The American Folk Art Museum, The Block Museum of Art, Sequitor and Triple Canopy.
