Sentinel Capital Partners Exits CINgroup

NEW YORK, March 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity firm that invests in promising companies at the lower end of the midmarket, today announced the sale of CINgroup, a provider of innovative software and due diligence solutions to attorneys and their clients. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

CINgroup is the world's leading bankruptcy workflow solutions provider to the consumer bankruptcy market. The Company manages a suite of technology-based solutions with widely recognized name brands, including Best Case^® Bankruptcy, CINcompass^®, and CIN Legal Data Services^®. These products and services function seamlessly with bankruptcy courts, trustees, creditors, and other service providers within the consumer bankruptcy ecosystem. Best Case and CINcompass are used to facilitate case preparation, electronic filing, and bankruptcy workflow; CIN Legal Data Services provides credit reports, tax transcripts, and other attorney due diligence products as well as solutions to facilitate review and acceptance by their clients.

Also during the past year, Sentinel made five new platform investments—Apex Companies, an environmental services firm specializing in water resources and industrial hygiene; GSM Outdoors, a provider of technologically-advanced, branded accessories for the hunting, shooting, and outdoorsman markets; Holley Performance Products, a manufacturer of branded performance products for automotive enthusiasts; Pet Supplies Plus, a franchisor and operator of local neighborhood pet stores; and UBEO, a regional provider of document processing services.
