Sequans Communications S.A. Selects Aricent Group to Test LTE User Equipments (UEs)

BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS -- Aricent Group, a global innovation and technology services company, announced today it is working with Sequans Communications S.A. (NYSE: SQNS) a 4G chipset vendor, to deliver field and lab testing of User Equipment (UE) like M2M devices, Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Smartphones, and USB dongles, which are based on the SEQUANS 4G-LTE chipsets.

Aricent Group's Network Consulting and Integration Services (NCIS) team has a great depth of LTE experience, which will be leveraged during solution integration and testing at Sequans' customer sites worldwide. The project requires the rapid mobilization of a worldwide team highly specialized in 4G technologies to analyze root causes and guide the chipmaker's engineering team to identify and resolve potential issues. Aricent will leverage its 4G-LTE Lab in Gurgaon, India to enable enhanced troubleshooting and diagnoses.

In addition, Aricent Group's Device Testing offering will enable Sequans to participate in acceptance and conformance testing as per LTE-3GPP specifications and will help operators accept and deploy SEQUANS products into their networks.
