LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Hilarity for Charity (HFC), the national nonprofit founded by Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen, announces the return of CareCon, a free virtual event dedicated to educating, inspiring, and empowering Alzheimer's and dementia family caregivers. Now in its fifth year, CareCon will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 3 PM ET / Noon PT and will welcome thousands of attendees seeking support, knowledge, and community.

Hosted by HFC, CareCon 2025 brings together a dynamic lineup of celebrity guests and industry experts to honor and uplift those impacted by Alzheimer's and dementia. This year's confirmed guests include Seth Rogen, Lauren Miller Rogen, Busy Philipps, Ron Funches, Gillian Jacobs, Emily Gordon, and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, each of whom will contribute their voices to this vital cause.

The Scotty Awards: Recognizing Outstanding Caregivers

A highlight of CareCon is the Scotty Awards, which honor exceptional caregivers making a difference in the lives of those impacted by Alzheimer's. Named in honor of Scott Miller, a devoted caregiver to his late wife, Adele (mother of HFC Co-Founder Lauren Miller Rogen and HFC Board Chair, Dan Miller), the awards recognize one unpaid family caregiver and one professional caregiver each year. The 2025 recipients will be honored during the event by Seth Rogen, Lauren Miller Rogen, and Scott Miller.

A Mission of Impact

Hilarity for Charity was founded in 2012 after Lauren Miller Rogen's mother was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's at just 55 years old. Since then, HFC has worked tirelessly to raise awareness, funds, and support for families facing the disease. To date, the nonprofit has provided over 475,000 hours of free, quality in-home care for families in need of respite. Through initiatives like CareCon, HFC continues to foster community, education, and tangible support for those navigating the challenges of Alzheimer's caregiving.
