Seven Lakes Technologies Expands Leadership Team

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Seven Lakes Technologies, an innovative enterprise software and solutions leader in the upstream oil and gas sector, today announced the appointment of four executives to its senior leadership team: Chief Revenue Officer Jim Schulte, Chief Financial Officer John Pitstick, Chief Marketing Officer Sowmya Murthy and Chief Technology Officer Bret Wiener.

Jim Schulte
Schulte, a global enterprise sales veteran with 25 years of experience, is focused on customer lifetime value. As CRO, he will lead the company's corporate strategy, have responsibility for creating long-term profitable revenue growth and drive its go-to market structure.

Before joining Seven Lakes Technologies, Schulte was vice president of strategic alliances and western U.S. sales for Thismoment, a content marketing technology company that enables the world's biggest companies to connect with their target customers in real time on any device.  While at Thismoment, Schulte was responsible for the company's business partnerships, sales strategy and revenue growth. Schulte joined the company leadership team to support transition into enterprise sales and launch Content Cloud SaaS platform, resulting in 135 percent revenue growth in the first year. Prior, Schulte excelled in software sales leadership positions at EMC, IBM and FileNet.

John Pitstick
Pitstick will oversee Seven Lakes Technologies' financial and administrative operations, including responsibility for building a scalable infrastructure to support the organization's growth. As CFO, Pitstick will manage the company's transition from its previous services-based model to one that is based upon providing packaged value-added solutions to its clients.

An accomplished CFO, Pitstick previously led the worldwide financial operations for Conversant, Inc., a publicly traded digital marketing services company with $600 million in annual revenue and 1500 employees. He also oversaw corporate development activities including nine acquisitions. In 2014, prior to joining Seven Lakes, Pitstick drove each stage of the due diligence, signing and closing of Conversant's $2.3 billion sale to a strategic buyer in December.

Sowmya Murthy
An accomplished marketing executive, Murthy will lead all aspects of Seven Lakes Technologies' marketing program. She will be responsible for scaling the company's messaging to ensure it supports the targeted outcomes for its products, technologies and solutions.

With more than 15 years of experience as a marketing strategy executive, Murthy has successfully driven innovative business strategies as a change agent for B2B technology companies. Prior to her role at Seven Lakes Technologies, Murthy was head of marketing for Unisys' $1.2B Technology Consulting and Systems Integration Business Unit and Internal Strategy Group, where she established market leadership, value-based messaging and demand generation for startup converged infrastructure and cybersecurity technologies. Under her leadership, she secured multiple third-party endorsements for new disruptive software defined networking and security products including Gartner's Magic Quadrant, Frost & Sullivan 2015 New Product Innovation Award, American Business Award (silver) for favorite product of the year and Tech America Award for Cybersecurity Sector.  

Bret Wiener
As CTO, Wiener will have responsibility for overseeing the design and deployment of the company's software and other technology efforts. He has more than 20 years of experience in leading the design, development, testing and support of large-scale enterprise web applications and managing large-scale databases and networks. He has a proven track record for orchestrating the growth of new ventures across a host of diverse industries. Most recently, he served as the IT director for Capital Brands where he built the web and mobile development teams, the QA team, and the network administration and tech support teams along with leading the development of the NutriLiving health and wellness platform and migrating 15 e-commerce and corporate websites to a new platform.
