ST. PAUL, Minn., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- If you've had a great customer service experience recently, Minnesota Life Insurance Co. invites you to share it with them at their microsite, expectgreatservice.com.
The site is part of the company's new B2B ad campaign, "Exceptional Service Shouldn't Be An Exception." Currently, it features stories about employees of Minnesota Life's group insurance division who make great customer service their business priority, but the company wants to gather stories about great service from all industries.
"We invite people to share their own stories about great service, whether it was with an insurance company, an airline, or a street vendor," said Von Peterson, senior vice president of Securian Financial Group, Minnesota Life's parent company. "Exceptional service happens when one person cares enough to make sure another person is happy. That's what makes good companies great."
Minnesota Life's group insurance division is a case study in growth through exceptional customer service. It was the 16th largest group insurer in 1991 with $66 billion of insurance in force. In a mature market, Minnesota Life grew to fourth largest group insurer in 2009, with more than $547 billion of coverage in force. In annual satisfaction surveys, ninety-eight percent of Minnesota Life's group life customers say they would recommend the insurer to another company and 99 percent say they are satisfied. In 2009, Minnesota Life's group insurance sales rose 15 percent despite the recession.
To post your own story about great customer service, go to expectgreatservice.com, click on "Share your service story" in the lower right corner, and fill in the form. Minnesota Life will post stories on the site.
