Shawn Poole Named President of EmployBridge

ATLANTA, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a period of continued expansion and innovation, EmployBridge is taking further steps to enhance its leadership position in the specialty staffing industry by appointing Shawn Poole to the role of President and Chief Financial Officer.

Poole has been instrumental in the company's success since its inception; together with CEO Tom Bickes, they have transformed the firm's traditional staffing focus to a specialization model concentrating on key industry verticals that have demonstrated the potential for sustained growth and profitability – logistics, manufacturing and transportation.

Mr. Poole has an extensive background in both the staffing and financial industries in the public and private sectors.  He joined Career Blazers, the predecessor of EmployBridge, in July 1999 and served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Accounting Officer and Secretary.  Prior to joining Career Blazers, Poole was the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Randstad North America.  Additionally, he has held positions as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of American Studios Inc. and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Carolina Freight Corporation. 

Poole began his career at Arthur Andersen LLC, rising to the position of Senior Manager during his tenure with the firm.
