Shawn Wiram of Brenntag North America Named NACD Distributor of the Year
CARLSBAD, Calif., Nov. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) today named Shawn Wiram, Director of Safety, Health and Environment at Brenntag North America, the 2018 Distributor of the Year. Recipients of this award demonstrate outstanding commitment to the chemical distribution community and work steadfastly on behalf of NACD and the entire industry.
Wiram has served as the chairman of the NACD ChemEdge Committee, where he continues as a member. Wiram was responsible for all Safety, Health & Environment matters for Ulrich Chemical before it was acquired by Brenntag in 2007. He was quickly promoted from his position as Environmental Services Director for Brenntag Mid-South to Director of Safety, Health and Environment of Brenntag North America in 2008.
