"I've done similar tree surveys before, but never at this scale or this level of detail," said Chris Coles, the Survey Project Manager for the project engineer, WSP of Mooresville. "I've noted the species, health, size and general attractiveness of over 2,000 trees in the first phase alone. During the ceremony, Trilogy General Manager Jay Seymoure thanked the former land owners, the Clark Family, for their stewardship of the land over the years. He added that the community would continue to respect the natural beauty of the land.

We've already had to take some trees down, but we're planning to repurpose them within the community. For example, they could be used in the architecture and even the furnishings of the 25,000-square-foot amenity building."
