WILMINGTON, Del., June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP (Siegfried) recently hosted its 8th Mastering Your Journey™ (MY Journey™) event in Las Vegas, NV. MY Journey™ is a unique and extraordinary program designed to help Siegfried employees grow personally and professionally to create their bigger futures.
More than 500 Siegfried Professionals and members of Leadership attended the event either at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas or at venues across the country via a live broadcast.
Compelling Connections
The theme of this MY Journey™ event was Compelling Connections. "Developing individual leadership and building mastery in 'compelling connections' is absolutely crucial when it comes to being successful in your personal life and your professional life," said Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO.
Mr. Siegfried opened the day, initiated discussions and encouraged employees to take time to reflect on and determine actionable insights. "Believe that if you really put your mind to something and lean in to master it, you can accomplish great things," he told the Siegfried team.
In her Connected to the World session, Siegfried Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Cindy Gee emphasized how current events and trends can impact the creation of seriously relevant and irresistibly compelling relationships.

Acclaimed author, entrepreneur and professional relationship expert Keith Ferrazzi delivered a stirring presentation called Building the Relationships Necessary for the Next 25 Years of Your Success. In it, he shared personal stories and explained that fear stops people from developing healthy, productive relationships and from building social capital. And people with better social capital, he said, get better jobs more quickly, receive larger bonuses and are more likely to be promoted.
He emphasized that when people lead with generosity, intimacy, candor and accountability, they are equipped to build truly meaningful social bonds with others. Mr. Ferrazzi closed his speech with a quote from his father, "Never be afraid to ask, the worst anyone can ever say is no."
