Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals From Across the Country
Employees Travel to Philadelphia for Orientation
WILMINGTON, Del., March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP (Siegfried) recently convened a group of professionals at the Hyatt at the Bellevue hotel in Philadelphia for orientation.
Siegfried's Orientation program introduces Professionals to its extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy, and interesting and challenging work. During the multi-day event, new employees learn more about the company, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with their new colleagues.
Notably, all new employees have the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives. "During your career you've gained a lot of knowledge, and as a result you've joined our Firm. And we appreciate you for that," said Siegfried.
A welcome reception was held at the Hyatt's Wine Room, which overlooks the city of Philadelphia. For the remainder of the week, the orientation group was joined by members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, as well as colleagues from their respective regions, for a group dinner at Estia and a night at Penn's Landing for Blue Cross Riverrink's Winterfest.

Marina Shahinyan, CPA, joins the Detroit Market as a Senior Manager. She applies her comprehensive technical knowledge and individual leadership skills to provide strategic insights and effective, timely resolutions. She attended the University of Michigan, where she earned her Master of Accounting, and Yerevan State University of Economics in Armenia, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration. Most recently, Shahinyan was a Manager at PwC.
Corey Steltz, CPA, joins the Philadelphia Metro Market as a Senior Associate. Passionate about the success of his clients, Steltz creates positive change that enhances value. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University's Fox School of Business. Most recently, Steltz was a Senior Accountant at Kreischer Miller.
Abigail Ward, CPA, joins the Detroit Market as a Senior Associate. She constantly seeks to provide value and tackles projects and challenges with a positive attitude. Ward attended the University of Michigan, where she earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration and her master's degree in accounting. Her most recent position was at PwC as a Senior Associate.
Arielle Weir joins the Detroit Market as a Senior Associate. Weir embraces new opportunities and brings people together by inspiring trust and leading with courage. Weir earned her Bachelor of Arts in accounting at Michigan State University and was most recently a Senior Associate at EY.

Rita Baroody, CPA, joins the New York Metro Market as a Manager. Focused on producing quality results, Baroody infuses her teams with positive energy and trust. She attended Rutgers Business School, earning both her Master of Science and her Bachelor of Science in accounting. Most recently, Baroody was a Financial Reporting Manager for Wyndham Worldwide Corporation.
Nicholas Barrett joins the Boston Market as a Senior Associate. A real difference maker, Barrett's flexibility and unwavering work ethic help him provide high-quality and professional service to his clients. After earning his Bachelor of Science in management from Boston College's Carroll School of Management, Barrett worked as an Assurance Senior Associate at BDO.
Michelle Blau, CPA, CGMA, joins the New York Metro Market as a Director. Her wealth of experience, strong work ethic, and leadership abilities help her set high expectations for herself and those around her. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Rowan University and was most recently a Senior Manager in Risk and Internal Consulting at Baker Tilly, LLP.
Albert Falzarano joins the New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate.
