Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals From Across the Country

Siegfried's Orientation program introduces the Firm's extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy, and interesting and challenging work to its newest professionals. During the multi-day event, new employees learn more about the company, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with their new colleagues.

Notably, all new employees have the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, CEO and Founder, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives. "During your career you've gained a lot of knowledge, and as a result, you've joined our Firm. And we appreciate you for that," said Siegfried.

On the first night of Orientation, a welcome reception was held at Fountain Terrace, where the group enjoyed a picturesque waterfall. The next night, everyone gathered for a group dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak, and on the last night of Orientation, the new employees were joined by other members of the Firm for a night out at Topgolf.

Michael Adames joins the New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. Adames' dedication and passion allow him and his team to continually exceed expectations. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Kean University and was most recently a Senior Associate at BDO.

Devi Bala, MBA joins Siegfried's Detroit Market as an Associate Manager after gaining five years of combined audit experience at Deloitte and Moore Stephens Australia. She has a passion for building strong and productive client relationships to truly understand client needs. Bala earned her Bachelor of Engineering in computer science and her Master of Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and finance from the University of Tasmania.

Brandon Balogun, CPA, MBA, joins our Detroit Market as a Manager. Balogun has worked in Riveron Consulting's Transaction Advisory group and at Deloitte. To tackle business challenges, Balogun uses his progressive experience and commitment to working cohesively. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting and Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

Ryan Barnes, CPA, joins the Philadelphia Metro Market as an Associate Manager. Barnes' innovative and forward-thinking approach to solving problems makes him a distinctive player in the workplace. He studied accounting at Rowan University and most recently served as an Audit Manager at Deloitte. 

AJ Benarro joins Siegfried's Atlanta Market as an Associate Manager. A highly-trusted professional known for his exceptional interpersonal skills, Benarro began his career at EY after earning both his bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Florida.

Josh Brown, CPA, joins our D.C. Metro Market as a Senior Associate. Before he came to Siegfried, Brown was an Audit Senior Associate at RSM. He approaches each project with a vision to deliver optimal results. Brown attended James Madison University, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Master of Science in accounting.

Sean Elliott, CPA, joins the Philadelphia Metro Market as a Senior Associate after spending the last few years in an audit role at KPMG. Elliott believes that communication and a positive attitude are integral to creating success. At Penn State, he studied accounting and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees.

Zak Harrison joins Siegfried's Philadelphia Metro Market as a Senior Associate. No matter the situation, Harrison maintains an even demeanor that helps him consistently deliver results. Before he joined Siegfried, Harrison was at EY. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in both accounting and legal studies from Drexel University.

Scott Huber, CPA, joins our D.C. Metro Market as an Associate Manager after completing seven busy seasons at PwC. Through his results-oriented leadership, Huber has been able to tackle daunting projects. He studied at Virginia Tech, where he earned two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in accounting and information systems and a Bachelor of Science in finance.

Alan Kerstetter, CPA, joins the Denver Market as a Manager after gaining five years of diverse experience at Comcast. To tackle challenges with impactful solutions, Kerstetter applies prior experience. He studied accounting and business law at The Pennsylvania State University, and is currently completing his Master of Science in business intelligence and data analytics at Saint Joseph's University.

Brad Koch, CPA, joins Siegfried's D.C. Metro Market as a Senior Associate. A diligent worker who thrives when enhancing his teams, Koch started his career at RSM after he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Master of Science in accounting from James Madison University.

Lauren Maldonado joins our New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. A driven professional whose unique skill set enables her to exceed expectations, Maldonado most recently held a position at BDO. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Queens College.

Bryant Marnin joins the Cleveland Market as a Senior Associate. Before joining the Firm, Marnin held a role at Grant Thornton. A team-oriented problem solver, Marnin prides himself on providing high-quality work. He attended the University of Akron, earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting.

Jonathan McDavid, CPA, joins Siegfried's Philadelphia Metro Market as an Associate Manager after gaining experience at both EY and RSM. McDavid brings his confidence and great work ethic to every project. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting at Bob Jones University.

Tim O'Connor joins the Boston Market as an Associate Manager. A passionate professional, O'Connor can quickly integrate into any team and bring people together. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Saint Michael's College and his master's degree in accounting from Northeastern University. Most recently, he served as a Senior Accountant at Depository Trust Clearing Corporation.

Naa Abia Ofosu-Amaah, CPA, joins our Boston Market as an Associate Manager. Most recently she was at EY, where she gained two years of experience advising financial services clients with their most complex accounting projects. She encourages teams to work together to bring value at all times. Ofosu-Amaah earned her Master of Science degree in accounting and Master of Business Administration at Northeastern University. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Mount Holyoke College

Jodi O'Neill joins Siegfried's Operations team as the Director of Project Management and Special Projects. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Jodi gained a wide variety of experience in many different industries. Most recently, she was the Director of Human Resources at BravoSolution.

Frank Parrish, CPA, CFE, CIA, CCSA, CGMA, joins the Houston Market as a Director. Including his most recent role with the PCAOB, Parrish has more than sixteen years' experience in the professional services, manufacturing, software and energy industries, including senior management positions at Atwood Oceanics, Ernst & Young, Valero Energy and KPMG. Parrish's innovative and tactile approach to solving problems, coupled with his desire to bring out the best in his team makes him a distinctive player in the workplace. He studied at the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting, and at Wayland Baptist University for his Bachelor of Science in logistics.

Nico Prtenjaca joins Siegfried's New York Metro Market as a Manager. Previously, Prtenjaca worked at PwC in Monaco and in New York, where he audited public companies under GAAP and IFRS across various industries. Before this, he held an Audit Associate role at EY in Paris, France. As someone who loves putting his skills into use to solve problems, Prtenjaca jumps at the chance to roll up his sleeves and get the job done. He studied finance in France and earned his master's degree.

John Sarandis, CPA, joins our Cleveland Market as a Senior Associate. Goal-oriented, Sarandis focuses on how he can deliver solution-based ideas to his teams. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in in accounting and finance from Duquesne University and was most recently an Assurance Services Senior at EY.

Matt Smith, CPA, joins the Cleveland Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from Meaden & Moore, where he gained four years of audit experience. Smith takes a sensible and analytical approach to any situation. He attended Miami University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting, and Cleveland State University, where he earned his MBA.

Geetha Thomas, CPA, joins Siegfried's Atlanta Market as a Senior Manager. Her ability to build relationships quickly and gain trust make her an asset on any team. Thomas studied accounting at Rutgers University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science. Most recently, she served as an Accounting Manager at Proskauer Rose, LLP.

Charnell Thweatt, CPA, joins our D.C. Metro Market as an Associate Manager. Thweatt's enterprising attention to detail allows her to connect with her team and the task at hand. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting and her Master of Business Administration with a focus in accounting from Howard University, and was most recently a Senior Associate at PwC.
