Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals to its Northeast Region

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program introduces professionals to its extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy and interesting work. During the three-day event, new employees learn more about the company, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with fellow Professional Resources. Notably, all new employees have the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives.

A welcome reception was held at the Bellevue's Conservatory and the group also dined at Butcher & Singer. The event concluded with an outing to Lucky Strike bowling alley.  

Siegfried is excited to welcome Jonny Brennan, Greg Gould, Sam Murphy, and Sandra Yousheyah to its Northeast region.    

Jonny Brennan, CPA
Jonny, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. Prior to this, Jonny was at Deloitte for three "busy seasons," primarily focusing on external audits in the oil and gas, manufacturing, and financial services space. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from the University of Minnesota.

As a motivated professional, Jonny is confident in his ability to analyze, execute, and effectively communicate the results of his work in a variety of environments. "The positive culture and diversity of experiences that Siegfried offers is why I wanted to come here," he said.

In his spare time, Jonny enjoys staying active through golf, running, and skiing. His last headshot was taken in hopes of landing a role in the movie "The Great Gatsby" — it did not work out as planned.

Greg Gould
Greg joins the Boston Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from BDO, after gaining a year and half of audit experience with a primary focus on the pharmaceutical and technology industries. Prior to BDO, Greg was at Grant Thornton for three years, serving manufacturing and not-for-profit clients. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Boston College.

Greg is an exceptional professional who excels at bringing innovative solutions to complex problems and motivating team members with his positive attitude. His mental agility and communication skills lead to effective and novel results. "I'm excited to join Siegfried because I have the chance to find fresh approaches and insightful answers with my fellow team members," he said.

A true nerd, Greg can usually be found playing a variety of increasingly complex board games with his friends, most of whom are, unsurprisingly, accountants or work in IT. When he ventures outside, Greg can be found at the local brewery or escaping into eastern Massachusetts to hike. Recently, Greg traveled to Iceland and thinks it's even prettier in reality than it is on Instagram.

Sam Murphy, CA
Sam, a Chartered Accountant, joins the New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from Deloitte (the Melbourne and New York offices), where he gained four years of audit experience across various industries. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce in accounting and finance from the University of Melbourne.

Sam has an approachable leadership style with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work. Because he can work efficiently under pressure and get the best out of the people around him, he is able to go above and beyond for his clients. Sam said, "The diversity of experiences and challenges involved in meeting clients' high expectations is why I joined Siegfried."

Outside of work, Sam enjoys being active and is a big sports fan. He quickly adopted several New York teams after arriving in the United States, and particularly enjoys watching the Giants and Rangers take the field. Sam recently finished a trip through the South East and Midwest of the United States and is planning additional trips for the rest of the year.

Sandra Yousheyah, CA
Sandra, a Chartered Accountant, joins the New York Metro Market as a Manager. Most recently, she held a finance role supporting the Principal Transactions Group at Macquarie. She spent the last year in the Manhattan office after transferring from the Banking and Financial Services team in Sydney, Australia. Prior to Macquarie, she worked for Grant Thornton in audit and assurance after earning her Bachelor of Commerce degree with majors in accounting and finance from The University of Sydney.

Sandra approaches problems with enthusiasm, confidence, and commitment to deliver intuitive solutions. By leveraging her willingness to learn and her ability to communicate with people at all levels, she prides herself on being a reliable and trustworthy team player. "The entrepreneurial spirit of Siegfried employees, its focus on client service, and its encouragement to expand networks across a range of industry groups is why I joined Siegfried," she said.

When Sandra is not at the gym or doing yoga on her rooftop, you will most likely find her catching up on the newest PlayStation games. An avid gamer, she maintains her ties to the gaming community by attending gaming expos and having friendly online battles with her sisters in Australia.
