Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals to its South Region

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program introduces professionals to its extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy and interesting work. During the three-day event, new employees learn more about the company, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with fellow Professional Resources. Notably, all new employees have the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives.

A welcome reception was held in the Westin's Library on the first night of orientation, and later in the week, the group enjoyed a dinner at McCormick & Schmick's and an evening at Lucky Strike bowling alley.

Siegfried is excited to welcome Kate Elliott, Suzhe Guan, Brad Gulick, and Nick Rhee to its South region.

Kate Elliott
Kate joins the Charlotte Market as an Associate Manager. Prior to this, she spent four years in audit at PwC and two years with an asset manager in Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Quinnipiac University.

A driven professional, Kate is committed to providing intelligent and innovative solutions for her clients. "I believe in Siegfried's High Performance Model™ and its 5 Promises," she said. "Working at Siegfried provides opportunities that I wouldn't have elsewhere, such as gaining experience in various areas, working with like-minded people, and working for a firm that supports and encourages my personal growth."

Outside of the office, Kate enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, reading, and streaming on Netflix. She also volunteers with the Special Olympics and can't pass up a good trivia night!

Suzhe Guan, CPA
Suzhe, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the South Florida Market as a Senior Associate. Before this, Suzhe worked in both assurance and advisory at EY. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Nanjing Audit University in China and her master's degree in accounting from Florida State University.

Passionate and positive, Suzhe approaches every project with dedication to delivering quality work that exceeds expectations. "Siegfried's unique business model and entrepreneurial nature was very appealing to me," she said. "I'm excited about the opportunity to be a trusted advisor to the top accounting and finance executives and help them with their complex business needs."

Suzhe, a fan of most outdoor activities, enjoys yoga, swimming, scuba diving, hiking, bicycling, and traveling.

Brad Gulick, CPA
Brad, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the Houston Market as an Associate Manager. Prior to joining Siegfried he gained more than five years of experience in the oil and gas industry from BG Group (Shell) and EY. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and his Master of Accountancy from Texas State University.

Brad empowers others, leads by example, and exceeds expectations. He said, "Expanding my work experience in a variety of industries and accounting areas, along with being part of one of the most distinct cultures in the accounting profession, is why I elected to embark on a career with Siegfried."

An avid guitar player, Brad enjoys attending live music events. He also likes to travel, immerse himself in new cultures, and try new foods. The most unique place Brad has been was Bangalore, India where he indulged in a large variety of street foods. Brad is a huge Houston sports fan and enjoys attending Texans, Rockets, and Astros games. He ran his first Tough Mudder early this year and hopes to run many more.

Nick Rhee, CPA
Nick, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the DC Market as a Manager. Most recently, Nick was an Audit Manager at EY and acted as a team leader on a number of engagements for domestic and international clients. Raised in New York City, Nick attended State University of New York at Stony Brook and earned his bachelor's degree in economics.

Nick puts his team first to achieve the collective goal and believes that with a good team behind him, no mountain is too high to climb. "When I look back on why I wanted a career in public accounting, it was the variety of the clientele I would be exposed to, as well as the opportunities to work on a multitude of interesting projects," he said. "And Siegfried offers that."

One of Nick's current hobbies is Olympic-style archery. He admits that he's not an expert, but the experience is a journey in getting better and he's enjoying putting the time in.
